Michael Saylor Strategy has completed its 101st Bitcoin acquisition purchasing 3,015 BTC for 204.1 million dollars at an average price of 67,700 dollars per coin according to an SEC filing. This latest purchase brings Strategy total Bitcoin holdings to 720,737 BTC acquired at a cumulative cost of approximately 54.8 billion dollars. Notably this acquisition was executed below the company average cost basis of 75,985 dollars per BTC representing one of a limited number of purchases made under the company historical average acquisition price. The first below-cost-basis purchase occurred on February 9 2026 when Strategy acquired 1,142 BTC during a market dip below 76,051 dollars. A similar pattern emerged during 2022-2023 when Bitcoin fell below the company cost basis of approximately 30,600 dollars during which Strategy completed seven purchases totaling 28,560 BTC. Strategy MSTR shares showed modest gains rising from approximately 125 dollars to nearly 130 dollars while Bitcoin traded at approximately 65,834 dollars.
