Artem Kaptur, a video editor for the massively popular YouTube creator MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), has been fired from his position at Beast Industries. The termination follows an investigation by the prediction market platform Kalshi into alleged insider trading. Kaptur is accused of abusing non-public, inside knowledge about the content and release schedule of MrBeast's upcoming videos to place profitable bets on Kalshi's markets. This led Kalshi to take action against the account holder, identified as Kaptur.
