Chinese Agri-Robot Startup Juewu Tech Secures Series A Funding
Intelligence Briefing: Juewu Technology (觉物科技), a Chinese startup specializing in all-terrain robots for agricultural applications, has completed a Series A funding round exceeding 100 million yuan (approximately $14 million). The round was led by Huachuang Capital and Jiangxi Jkonic Capital, with participation from existing investors including Anker Innovations. The company, founded in 2020, develops modular robot platforms capable of performing various agricultural tasks through interchangeable payload modules. Unlike traditional specialized machinery, Juewu's platform utilizes a 'transformable chassis + modular payload' approach, allowing a single robot to switch between different functions by changing attached modules. The company's flagship products include the 'Heku T3000' for field operations and the 'Jilu G3000' for orchard management. These robots have accumulated over 1 million kilometers of field testing across Xinjiang and Zhejiang provinces, completing five generations and approximately 40 minor iterations. Following successful commercialization in the Chinese market, the company plans to expand internationally to Europe, Australia, and Canada, where labor costs and automation needs are driving demand for agricultural robotics. The startup has also begun exploring cross-industry applications, recently partnering with Qidi Environmental to deploy robots for snow removal in urban emergency scenarios.
