Internal demo of ByteDance's new AI assistant was a disaster

I work in Infrastructure at ByteDance. What I'm hearing internally is that leadership has decided to make significant changes. The writing has been on the wall for weeks. People are updating their LinkedIn profiles and the mood is terrible.
