Accelerating the development of the Western Smart Manufacturing Industry at the opening of the 2026th International Industrial Fair

On 11 March 2026, the International Industrial Fair of 2026 was officially opened in the West China City. The exhibition focused on two main lines of innovation in the entire industrial chain, namely, new industries in the chain, a new carbon future, focusing on smart manufacturing and green transformation, with the aim of promoting high-quality manufacturing development in the central and western parts of the country, helping to upgrade the western industries to high-end, smart and green. It established seven thematic areas, including industrial automation, digital and metal processing, robotics, new-generation information technology and applications, new materials and energy-saving industries, and an exhibition on the Sichuan industrial chain.
